Our Mission
To promote the development and preservation of affordable housing for all Nevadans through collaboration, education, and advocacy.
With Nevada’s recent momentum, our state has become a bustling construction site, with attention and resources pouring in to drive progress and accelerate development pipelines. But now, it’s time to dig deeper. We need to excavate beneath the surface, examining processes with a critical eye, and unearth long-term resources to sustain our growth. We’re not just laying foundations; we’re building a blueprint for the future. So, let’s don those hard hats and roll up our sleeves. It’s time to get in the trenches together this October to construct a better future for our state.
The Nevada Housing Coalition is releasing a Call for Proposals for the 2024 Nevada Housing Conference. We invite NHC Members and stakeholders, from contractors to policymakers, to architects and community leaders, to submit their ideas for consideration. This year, under the theme “Digging In,” we are seeking innovative and interactive formats, best practices, and diverse perspectives focusing on addressing Nevada’s most pressing inventory gaps. We are looking for submissions that showcase innovative development strategies, effective systems coordination and partnerships, intersectional housing issues and programs, and actionable strategies to sustainably advance and preserve housing supply across Nevada.

About the Nevada Housing Conference
The Annual Nevada Housing Conference is NHC’s largest event of the year convening affordable housing stakeholders for two days of strategic collaboration, education, and networking. The 2023 Conference saw 346 attendees from across Nevada and 19 other states. Housing developers, funders, and community service organizations made up the majority of conference attendees. Additional attendees included advocacy organizations, local jurisdictions, elected officials and other public and private sector partners. NHC Members made up 51% of the attendees.
NOTE: To be considered for the 2024 Nevada Housing Conference, proposals must be submitted by end of day on Sunday, June 30th. NHC strives to host an event with a balanced and relevant curriculum. Please note that not all submissions will be accommodated, but we will encourage collaboration on similar ideas submitted and will support session leaders on the development of proposed ideas to best meet the goals of this event.
We encourage those submitting proposals to work with identified moderators and/or speakers to develop this proposal, but proposals with unconfirmed speakers are also welcome. Please complete this form with as much information as possible.
