Building Skills to Build Housing
With support from the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, ElevateNV Affordable Housing works to build the overall capacity of Nevada-based organizations through education, training, strategic outreach, and technical assistance.
Affordable Housing Development Training
A comprehensive education and training initiative with both virtual and in-person events across the state was designed to foster an in-depth understanding of affordable housing development from vision to stewardship. It was open to anyone interested in building partnerships vested in the development and management of affordable housing, including policymakers, funders, developers, property managers, and service providers.

Enterprise Community Partners delivered a virtual training session on Affordable Housing Finance in November 2022. This introduction provided participants with a better understanding of how developers, owners, and advocates could support the development of affordable housing in local communities.
Topics necessary to get projects off the ground were discussed including Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), the pro-forma tool, sources of funding, and the various financing layers.
