2025 Nevada Housing Conference

The Nevada Housing Coalition is releasing a Call for Proposals for breakout and plenary sessions at the 2025 Nevada Housing Conference. We invite NHC Members and stakeholders to submit their ideas for consideration.
Session Format
We are seeking interactive and innovative formats, best practices, and diverse perspectives focused on developing and preserving the affordable housing supply across Nevada. Topic ideas include innovative development strategies, cross-sector collaboration, data-driven practices, policy solutions, funding and financing programs, and evidence-based strategies. Sessions should be planned for 75-90 minutes.
**Based on feedback from previous events, we are striving to provide an increased number of interactive formats this year.
Examples of session formats include:
- Workshops: Interactive skill-building sessions tailored for housing developers and professionals. These are education or training sessions on technical topics with opportunities for audience members to receive direct feedback from subject matter experts.
- Roundtables: Interactive, facilitated discussions on topics such as affordable housing policy. The goal of this type of format is to collectively share and discuss, problem solve, and dive deeper into a specific topic, challenge, or idea.
- Panels or Presentations: Classroom style format featuring diverse viewpoints, best practices, and current data. These sessions should strive to be interactive with activities or Q&A from the audience. These could be moderated discussions showcasing recent projects or case studies. It is suggested to include up to 4 speakers including a moderator for this type of session.

NOTE: To be considered for the 2025 Nevada Housing Conference, proposals must be submitted by end of day on Sunday, June 1st. NHC strives to host an event with a balanced and relevant curriculum. Please note that not all submissions will be accommodated, but we will encourage collaboration on similar ideas submitted and will support session leaders on the development of proposed ideas to best meet the goals of this event. About the Nevada Housing Conference
The Annual Nevada Housing Conference is NHC’s largest event of the year convening affordable housing stakeholders for two days of strategic collaboration, education, and networking. The 2024 Conference saw 336 attendees from across Nevada and 18 other states. Housing developers, funders, and public agencies made up the majority of conference attendees. Additional attendees included advocacy organizations, local jurisdictions, elected officials and public and private sector partners. NHC Members made up 52% of attendees.
