Call for

Proposals

September 23 & 24 | Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, Reno

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Sunday, May 3rd

The Nevada Housing Coalition is releasing a Call for Proposals for the 2026 Nevada Housing Conference. This event is expected to bring together around 400 affordable housing stakeholders from across Nevada and the country for two days of education and networking.

We invite industry professionals and partners to submit proposals for breakout or plenary sessions. This is an opportunity to share your expertise, elevate innovative ideas, and help shape the conversation around Nevada’s housing future.

We are especially looking for sessions that:

  • Feature interactive and engaging formats.
  • Provide clear, actionable takeaways attendees can apply to their work.
  • Demonstrate measurable outcomes, lessons learned, or real-world impact.
  • Reflect diverse perspectives and cross-sector collaboration.
  • Address Nevada’s most pressing housing challenges.

Session Formats

  • Plenary Session: Approximately 75 minutes; presented to all conference attendees in a general session.
  • Breakout Session: Approximately 75 minutes; presented in a smaller breakout room and scheduled concurrently with two other sessions.

Session Styles

  • Workshop: Interactive, skill-building session such as small group discussions, hands-on activities, direct feedback from presenters, or take-home materials.
  • Roundtable: Interactive, facilitated discussions with the goal of openly discussing problems and ideas, group problem solving, and diving deeper into specific topics or challenges.
  • Panel: Classroom style presentation featuring up to 4 speakers and a moderator.
NOTE: To be considered for the 2026 Nevada Housing Conference, proposals must be submitted by end of day on Sunday, May 3rd. NHC strives to create an event with a balanced and relevant program. While not all submissions can be accepted, we encourage collaboration among similar proposals and will support session leaders in refining their ideas to best meet the goals of this event.

Questions can be directed to amanda.lakin@nvhousingcoalition.org. Decisions and follow-up will be made no later than June 5th.
