WOW. I can’t believe it’s been one week since we kicked off the 2022 Nevada Housing Conference.
We sold out the event with close to 300 attendees! The two-day event was filled with networking, two plenary discussions, 12 timely breakout sessions, awards, special guests, and even an improv show! You could feel the energy in the room, and I hope we continue the momentum we’re feeling in affordable housing into the upcoming legislative session.
I want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone involved in making this Conference a first-class event. Thank you to our Emcee, Katie Coleman, the Event Planning Committee, our volunteers, including the amazing Nevada Rural Housing Authority Team, our sponsors, our special guests, our more than 70 speakers, our vendors, and our attendees.
The Conference Final Report will be published soon with links to all slides and session summaries.

Once again, it’s because of all of you that we are making progress for Nevadans in need. Thank you, and keep an eye out for the Save the Date for the 2023 NV Housing Conference in Las Vegas.

The Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco has launched their 2023 Targeted Community Lending Plan which identifies affordable housing needs, demonstrates how the needs are being addressed via community investment programs and outreach activities, and specifies the Bank’s performance goals for addressing needs.
The Plan was developed by consulting the Affordable Housing Advisory Council and various Bank stakeholders. It incorporates data from surveys and both national and state reports including a list of Native American tribes and details about Native American housing needs and how they can be addressed.
